Only two foals for the stud this year but both lovely foals and very different types.
It seems I have been waiting forever for my first foal this season to be born, but it was worth it as Hallmark has arrived without any trouble and has been big, strong, straight and healthy from day one. She has a very endearing blaze which zigzags onto her cheeks and has two spots on her nose. To go with that is one white stocking on her front leg. Her dam Jilly (see mare page) is very protective about this foal and it has taken her a good few days before she has presented her for us to play with. But true to Hallmark's sire Casper she has the sweetest, friendliest nature and my daughter (having lost her favourite Glitterbug from last season) has vowed and declared to keep this one.
Hallmark has been sold to a lovely local family with the intention of becoming a "forever pony" and maybe aimed towards dressage. I am hoping to see more of Hallmark since she is local and will post any updates.
Rushmoor Hot Shot
Quite the striking looking filly this one with her dark buckskin colouring, bold blaze and little white socks. She is out of Ava (see mare page) and by Casper, a union that has resulted in some outstanding foals.
Hot Shot looks a leggy girl and will no doubt require a step ladder to mount once fully matured! She is developing into quite a big and bold looking individual with a lot of presence. Once again she has the moves and breeding to make her a top horse in any field.
Another foal on the ground by Casper and this one a lovely buckskin filly out of Mozzie who is now with another breeder. Heidi has been super friendly since birth and is a real nice type. Her dam has produced stunning foal after foal and this one is no exception. We will hopefully keep you posted on Heidi's development as she progresses.
