Two new mares with big futures

Rushmoor Stud has recently added two stunning mares temporarily to the broodmare band. Witzgold (chestnut and white mare) has already produced a very nice colt by Rushmoor Bravo and is to be bred again before she resumes her ridden career. The newly arrived Rotterdam (chestnut, see mare page) is also going to be bred before she starts under saddle. I am very excited about the offspring of these two as they certainly have the bloodlines and looks to raise the bar, something I am always trying to achieve. Watch this space for some stunners!

Skyhi Cinnamon Twist

This is a nice typey mare by Casper out of a TB mare. She definitely has the jumping style that we all would hope for and nice movement on the flat to boot. Bred by Skyhi Horses she looks to be beautifully produced and a nice example of a Casper/TB cross.

Rushmoor Gorgeous

Well hasn't Gorgeous shaped up well and her owners have done her proud. Taking out reserve champion youngstock she looks a picture. By an outside stationbred stallion out of my mare Chakita (now sold) she is looking fantastic. Keep it up.

Went to an early practice showjumping today and who should be there but a locally bred Casper baby out of a standardbred mare. She was a real sweetie and although only 4 years old not fazed at anything. Obviously still learning the jumping thing she gave it a good go and I was quite impressed with her style and attitude.

This is one cute horse - a purebred Clydesdale x Casper and apparently a real lovely horse. You will see from my progeny pages that this one kept us guessing as to his colour for some time but has been officially declared sooty palomino. At two years old Murphy is not a small individual but luckily his nature is none too challenging.

Well the hunt season is finally at a close and I was lucky enough to attend the odd hunt with my daughter. Trouble was once she learnt that it was the master in the red coat you follow she was away .... and I was hard pressed to keep up. Both my daughter's pony ("Genie") and my faithful steed ("Ocka") were keen from whoa to go and a mere fence in the way wasn't going to stop them.

Kasper's Gold

As you can probably tell by my many posts below I absolutely adore this pony. He has got the scope and ability we all dream about and looks such a dude to match. Hunt is on for a mare to put to Casper to get an identical pony!

Another Casper offspring

I found this horse on the internet and a Casper offspring at that. Remarkable thing about this big beauty is he is 18hh. I think he must be the biggest I've heard of and not one for those vertically challenged to mount.

Rushmoor Bling

This horse, although no longer known as Bling, is looking fabulous. With a classic textbook jumping style and eye-popping good looks - you can't get any better. Lets hope we get to see more of this one strutting his stuff.

Rushmoor Evo

Evo has recently been broken in and onsold. His recently deprived owner seems to have a bit of a soft spot for this one, but I'm sure he will make his new owner more than happy also.

Well this lovely horse is a bit different in that he is the grandson of Casper. But doesn't he have the looks and obviously from his party tricks, the brains! Apparently he is much admired by those he comes in contact with. As he is still only a youngster I hope we get to see more of his achievements.
