2024 Foals

Well it seemed we were waiting for a very long time for foals this year then suddenly they all came at once.  And here are the three new girls for the stud.

Rushmoor Qara

Notice something different?  Yes, a foal that is not palomino or buckskin - quite the novelty.  Welcome to the world little Qara who looks all legs at this stage.  Qara is by Morocco NZPH (my daughter's young showjumper) out of Rotterdam (Rohdinger/Anamour) so a very nicely breed warmblood filly.  Morocco is no longer a colt so this is his one and only offspring before he begins his career and he has certainly helped produce the goods here.  For those of you wondering about the name, "Qara" is an underground building in Morocco.

Rushmoor Quinn

Quinn is an endearing little filly out of the Irish mare Tir Na Og (Coalmans Touch) and by Casper.  She looks to be a strong type with a lot of bone and has taken after her dad.  Quinn has already been sold to a lovely local home so I can hopefully see her develop over the coming years.

Rushmoor Quest

The last to arrive and I think the cutest, at this stage anyway, is the beautiful wee filly Quest.  Quest is out of Ava (Landioso/Anamour) and by Casper and as I say every year a well tried mix which has resulted in some stunning offspring.  I think Ava held on to Quest a little too long as her tummy was enormous and within a couple of hours of giving birth Quest was running in circles around her mum probably glad to finally be able to stretch those long legs of hers.
